Humberto Sirvent

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Sirvent has 13 years of experience and a strong background as an energy investment banker concentrating on E&P, oilfield services, power and renewables. Over the past five years he has participated in M&A and has raised capital or originated $1.8 billion worth of projects in the energy sector.

Mr. Sirvent’s valuable work expertise includes Institutional Credit and Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch and UBS Financial Services for over ten years, where he managed over $2.5 billion of client assets. He is also a co-owner of Clearinghouse Securities, LLC (FINRA broker/dealer #35192).


Mr. Sirvent holds a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona. He maintains Series 7, 24, 31, 63, and 66 FINRA securities licenses.

Joe Frost

General Counsel

During his career, Mr. Frost has participated in over $9 billion in acquisitions and divestitures, of oil and natural gas production, transportation, and treating facilities.  As part of these transactions, Mr. Frost also formed and helped manage new ventures utilizing over $1 billion in private equity funds.

Joe graduated first in his class from the Barret Honors College at Arizona State University where he was also selected as the Outstanding Graduating Senior by the W.P. Carey School of Business faculty in May of 2000.  He then attended law school at Northwestern University School of Law, graduating Cum Laude in May of 2003.  Mr. Frost joined one of the Texas “big three” firms after law school where he practiced Energy and Real Estate law.  In 2006 Joe joined Hilcorp Energy Company, now the largest private oil & gas company in America. Since leaving Hilcorp in 2017, Mr. Frost has continued to work in the energy industry, helping small to mid-sized companies in the areas of energy infrastructure construction and wastewater purification.  Joe worked for Tesla in 2023 and 2024 as Managing Counsel in Tesla’s Energy Products division, where he managed the sale of approximately $2.5 billion in industrial scale battery storage solutions.  He also has experience in dealing with both private and public joint ventures, corporate governance, regulatory compliance with both state and federal governmental bodies (Natural Gas Act, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Texas Railroad Commission), and planning and execution of long-term strategic initiatives.


Outside the energy sector, Joseph has advised clients in real estate acquisitions and divestitures totaling hundreds of millions of dollars; with experience in the real estate market from high rise office buildings to single family homes.  He manages a $6 million commercial and residential real estate portfolio, with properties located in 3 states.

Lauren Meeks

Managing Director

Lauren Meeks has been in the oil and gas industry for over 20 years. A proud graduate from the University of Houston with her undergraduate degree in Business and Master's in Finance, she has deep roots in the industry.

Over her career, Lauren has worked from a desk accountant to a Controller and Director of Human Resources. Along the way, Lauren has been a part of multiple teams that have developed and streamlined procedures and led several program implementations. Lauren finds her greatest joy in advocating for the employees she supports. Working in the private energy sector has helped her learn more about the industry and allows her to be more involved with all aspects of the companies she works for.


As Managing Director of American Helium Lauren directly supports the day-to-day activities of the company while ensuring the overall goals that the company has set are maintained.

Dave Patterson

Technical Advisor

Dave Patterson is a technical advisor for American Helium’s efforts in the Paradox Basin of Colorado and Utah.

Dave is active in efforts with partners in South Texas, Navarro Energy in Central Texas, and president of Strike Exploration with various consulting engagements within the US hydrocarbon provinces. Dave has been a petroleum industry manager, consultant, and prospect generator. Skill sets include 2D and 3D geophysical interpretations, stratigraphic and structural geology, reservoir engineering and economic evaluations for both conventional and unconventional plays.


Dave has been exposed to numerous regions in North America including the Permian, Gulf Coast and Rocky Mountains. This background has led to unique insight for innovative concept applications.


Dave is a Colorado School of Mines graduate with a B.S. in Geological Engineering beginning his career as a development geologist with Tenneco Oil. Later, transferred to Tennessee Gas Transmission becoming a supervisor of reserves following the sale of the oil company. Additional background included exploration manager at Carrizo E&P (Texas), Ultra Petroleum (Pinedale), and Rose Petroleum (Rockies).


Dave has been working with the ARB, Locin, and American Helium group since 2016 primarily in the Douglas Creek Arch and Paradox basins of the Rocky Mountains.

Dave Bullion

Chief Technical Advisor

Mr. Bullion is a seasoned veteran of the energy industry with more than 36 years of experience in upstream oil and gas.

Dave previously served as Independent Board member and audit committee member for Cenaq Energy Corp (Nasdaq: CENQ).

Currently he serves as Independent Director for Ascent Resources PLC (AIM: AST.L) He also is CEO, Green Natural Gas, a

private company focused on natural gas/helium and carbon sequestration in the Paradox Basin of Southern Utah.

His proven track record covers finding and developing hydrocarbons, domestic and international, exploration and

development for public and private companies.


His start in the oil patch with BP led to a 20 year career which began as a field

petrophysicist in Alaska and worked his way through increasingly demanding roles in the company’s diverse operations around

the globe.


After BP, he became Vice President, General Manager for Red Willow LLC leading all operations for the firm in

Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and the Gulf of Mexico. He then served ARB Energy since inception as Chief Investment Officer

David Bullion where he helped expand assets under management by five-fold.


Mr. Bullion received his M.S. and B.S. in Geophysics from Texas A&M University.
